Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Tiho is a browser extension that filters social media feeds. It's made by VIDEZ s.p., Slovenia ("we"). Contact: support@usetiho.com.

The short version

Free feed cleanup

Hiding ads, suggested accounts, trends and similar page elements happens locally in your browser. Your settings are stored in your browser's extension storage. You don't need an account and we receive nothing.

AI filtering

When AI filtering is on, the extension sends each post in your feed to our server (a Cloudflare Worker) for classification:

Our server sends this to Cloudflare Workers AI, which returns probabilities (for example "is this rage bait?"). We use the result to answer your request and then discard the post content. We don't store post content, and we don't write it to logs.

"Learn from my votes" sends summaries of your past votes, in the same way, to write and test rules for your filter. Your votes, rules and the decisions about which posts to hide are stored only in your browser.

Your account

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (shown as Link at checkout). Stripe collects your payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy. We receive your subscription status, not your card number.

This website

usetiho.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure load times. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything in your browser, and doesn't follow you across other sites. We see totals such as visits per page, country and browser type, not individual visitors.

Changelog entries may include videos hosted by YouTube or Vimeo. These players load only when you choose to load a video; that connects your browser to the provider, which may receive your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy. Screenshots and video files hosted by Tiho load from our website.

Who processes data for us

Legal basis and your rights

We process account and usage data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), and service metrics to keep it working and affordable (legitimate interest). Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to processing. Delete your account any time on the account page, or email us. You can also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec).

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the extension and update the date above.
